Default Content management

Hi,
I want to develop a conten management solution. The purpose of this is to generate a well-formatted word document. First,I need a rich textbox or similar contrl that allows me to add/edit data and also to format entered data and store them with the format in database. I am not sure whether this can be done in this way. I have done in an online stuff where it can be stored in HTML formated tags.
Once the data entry/modification is complete, I need to generate a word document out of it using the formatting attributes already added to it. Can it be done? Any help is appreciated.
Thx in adv.
Sankar
