Microsoft Data Access

On Jan 31 I installed Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware(beta). Immediately thereafter I could not use DAO or ADO. When I tried to provide the Record Source for DAO if get this message: "Visual Basic has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." With ADO I get this message: "Test connection failed because of an error ininitializing provider 0x0040e4d." I have removed VB and reinstalled to include all SPs. Can anyone help?
