Default how to ge tthe path of active document???

i have used the ActiveDocuments.path to get the path of the active document. but this method fails in some of the circumstances...

can anyone hepl me resolve this...???

       Have you tried with the above !!!

NO!!! thats not the one i was looking forward!

i was trying to open a word documents and find the Path of the ActiveDocument.
