Im having a problem when I have installed the project. By the way, Im using Vb6 and CR9 and Installshield10.5 to create an installer. During installation, there's no problem but when I try to run the installed project in the computer that has no CR9 installed the error "ActiveX error" occurred. I installed the CR9 and the project run smoothly.

Is there any way where I can run the installed project smoothly without installing the crystal report?

CR9 needs a basic set of files to installed on the
other computer where CR9 is not yet installed.
You have to include those files into your installation pack that goes in system32 directory
and in Crystals folder. Look for these files in the
CR9 help section (i exactly do not remember the
path of that files in the CR9 help section). Hope
you find it out.

Pack those files in the .msi file and install it
on the other computer and check. It should work.

Even I too had the same problem and I did it in the
same way, but i used VSI 1.1 (Visual Studio Installer)
