Default Updating a popup from prior to clicking on another

What is the best way to trigger the Before Update/After update Events in a control on a popup form, prior to moving the focus to another popup form whose records source is the same as the first form?

What I am encountering is the Access Write Conflict message? Is there any event that is triggered when you move from one popup form to another.
