need help on OCR

Hi all,

anybody post me sample VB code for OCR application.
i need to capture data from a .tif file.

I've heard that one of the easiest ways of doing OCR is to use MODI, which is a component of Office 2003.

Anyone know if it can be used outside of Office, in a server-type environment?
