Hi to all ,

Is it possible to write a program which runs continuously in background and terminate when the system turnoff.

Actually i want to write a program in VC++ which execute on Window startup and put the systemtime in database. and when ever the system is going to turn-off it again take systemtime and put into database (this need contineuous running of program in background).

So that i can findout that how long my system is used.
Can it be possible to make such application ?
Plz suggest me.
