Default crystal report does not show up in vb6

i am reciveing this error "20525 unable to load report"
i can't view crystal report i designed and saved as *.rpt
in vb6
"report.ReportTitle = title
 report.DataFiles(0) = App.Path + ".MDB"
 report.ReportFileName = App.Path + ".rpt"
 report.Action = 1"
is the error in the line "report.Action = 1"
i want to know why the report dos not show up

app.path only has the path of the exe file, you are missing a "\" and the actual name of the file (database and report)...

report.ReportTitle = title
report.DataFiles(0) = App.Path + "\myappl.exe"
report.ReportFileName = App.Path + "\report1.rpt"
 report.Action = 1

you mean this way i did it but still "Unable to load report"

hi again.. datafile should point to a database file.. not an .exe.. also check is the report is correctly in that path.

Thanks for your Replies
the report is exactly in the path
and also the data base
Hint i opend the report by crystal report 10 the report is working
but from the code it just ends the program with out displaying any thing
wait for your guide to the right way

is your code pointing to the database?? your last excerpt doesn't point that way...

and what about the record alone.. it works??

what happens if you don't pass any datafile to it??
