Default .vip Error Opening Interdev .sln in Visual Studio

Hello All,

New to this board. I found the board searching Google for:
project type .vip not installed

I found this on the board: (I get the same error)
"
Does Visual Studio.NET recognise Visual Interdev 6.0 solutions or projects?
When trying to open a .vip file in visual studio.NET I get an error saying
"The application for project 'C:\myproject.vip' is not installed. Make sure the application for the project type (.vip) is installed."
"

Anyone seen this? I have an InterDev .sln that I want to open in Visual Studio.

I have exactly the same problem - please can anyone help. I have searched the web but most people with this problem have an error message with a '.csproj' extension not a '.vip'.
Perhaps one should uninstall Visual InterDev before installing Visual Studio dot net - but then how can I get at all my existing work ?
