Hi there,

Over here we have saying that goes roughly like this: "He who needs a helping hand, often finds it on his own arm".

You have been asking quite a lot of questions, but you're not really helping yourself being helped. I can't believe that you cannot find a good code example using Google yourself.

Also, in one of your other posts, jaucourt suggested a couple of solutions. Did you try that? Did it help? If not, why didn't you respond to his message, asking for more information?

Personally, I don't think that complaining that you have been working on this for the past 9 hours will get you closer to your answer. If you need help, you have come to the right place. However, you can also help yourself by doing a little research and by explaining what you have already done, and what didn't work. People here are more than willing to help you, but they are not going to do your work for you.

Cheers,

Imar

i have looked on google, and found 1 example on a vb.net code script but this its from a spanish site, and everything is in spanish. i have taken into consideration other peoples idea's i.e. using asp.net as the underlying code but i notice the examples with asp.net include a web.congig file so im confused with that. I understand what your saying i dont want you guys to do my work for me becuase i want to learn vb.net thats the reason i took this course

In that case, why not post a message like:

The code below works for an ASP.NET page, but not for Windows forms. I think it's because it's using a Web config file. Any ideas how to change it so it works with Windows forms?

// ASP.NET code goes here.

Thanks in advance for any help

I am sure that will get you an answer.....

No problem. I am not trying to be rude or anything; I am just trying to explain the best way to get a fast answer here.

Cheers,
