How do you delete a record in a database using VB.Net, I can update fine, but am a bit stuck with deletes, have some book examples, but still having problems, as most examples use SQL back ends, but I am using Access.

Thanks

Louisa

Why don't you try to read Beginning VB.NET or Profesional VB.NET databases(Wrox Press). It has some very good examples.

I have read both, but I can not make any of the examples work as I typing in SQLcommand and as new sqlcommand and it doesn't recognise it and asks for me to define it, all the examples use SQL command so how can I get around this?
