Default ;nsbp saved when field blank

Hi all.
VB.NET Web App with SQL Server 2000 backend

When I click on the edit button in a datagrid, another form is loaded (with textboxes, checkboxlist, dropdownlist, etc) for data entry.
;nsbp is displayed in the textbox fields that were left blank. Does anyone know how to code it so that it does display the ;nsbp

Thank you,
Lee

Have you looked directly at the data to make sure the nbsp isn't in the database?

Sometimes the   actually is being saved to the table in the database. Sometimes it's not. This may be due to code changes (I'm in the mist of developing the web app). However, the   has been displaying consistently when the fields on the app are left blank.

Anyone know how?
Thank you,

In one thread you say it's in the database- in the other you say it's not.. which is it?

(oh, PLEASE don't post the same thread on more than one forum)

Hi,

Please post a sample of your form code so we can review it. You might also want to look into the System.Web.HttpUtility class for the HtmlEncode and HtmlDecode functions.

Cheers!
Marlon
