Default SQl Server Connectivity

Can Any body help me How to Connect with sql server lying on different machine , i do have its IP and want to acces the data in my forms

What kind of authentication are you using, SQL Server or Windows?

Go to the above link you will get the connection string with which you can connect to DB using SqlConnection object of System.Data namespace in VB.NET
