Default Dataset related performance .....

Hi all,
In my application I use a dataset to display set of records. It works fine up to about 1000 records. But my PC stand still for a while when the number of records increases up to about 15000 records. Is there a way to get around this problem.
Cheers.

Use caching if the number of records are more.
