The problem is I'm using McAfee Virus Scan 8 with Buffer Overflow.
There are two solutions to this problem, either disable the Buffer Overflow Protection from the Virusscan console or install Patch 10 for Virusscan 8 from McAfee. Thanks to those who looked at this for me.
