Default Solution Icon

Hi!

Iam a newbie in VB.NET
How can i change the solution (project) icon. I did try to check
it out in the "configuration manager" of the solution explorer
hoping that somehow it is the same that of VB 6.0 but failed to see it.

Anybody?

Hi there,

Check out the Application icon on the Build category of the Common Properties on the Properties dialog for your project.

If your using Visual Studio 2002 and above:

Right-Click on the name of the project in the Solution Explorer, select "Properties", under "Common Properties" select "Build". On the right, you should see the "Application Icon" pop-up menu...click the eliptic button to the right of the pop-up, then navigate to the file you want.

There are lots of Icons in your Microsoft Visual Studio.NET Folder\Common7
Hope this helps..

Kevin

OK, now how do you do it for a DLL? (Class Library)
