Default Transparency Problem

Hi, I want to make a transparent form which will appear to be a circle shape, except not just a filled in shape with some color but a circular image file (like a picture of a globe for example appearing as the form) I tried using a blue background around the image and putting it as the background image on the form and setting the transparency key to blue but it's not working. If I use a picture box instead, the form is transparent but there's still a blue square surrounding the circular image
