Hi All
I want to write a program that can access the com port status. When the program runs it can tell how many ports the PC have, and for each port whether the port is busy,free,baudrate,etc.

Please reply me soon with a solution.

I don't know HOW to do it- but I do know that the way this work will be different based on which OS your using- FOr example, NT, 2000 and XP all block most direct communication with the hardware. 98,95,ME and earlier, do not.
