Default VB .NET COM Add-in on Outlook 2000

I have currently created a COM Add-in using VB .NET for Outlook. When I load it on Outlook 2002 (version 10), the COM Add-in works fine. However, if I load this COM Add-in on Outlook 2000, the COM Add-in no longer works. Are there any issues with creating a COM Add-in for Outlook 2000 in VB .NET?

Thanks,

kydm

Was Outlook 2000 on a different machine (possibly without the framework)?

Yes, I developed the application on a machine with Outlook2002 and I'm trying to make sure that it is compatible with Outlook2000. The other PC that I'm testing with have the 1.1 .NET framework installed on it. It looks like the problem is when I try and initialize the Outlook Event Handlers.

Do I need to compile this application on a machine that has Outlook2000 installed to have it work with Outlook2000?

Thank you for you response,

Ken

are the outlook dll inside the framework?? if not, you will have to compile with outlook 2000 dlls to have compatibility with the 2002...

im not sure about that but could be the problem...
