Hi

Hello can any one please say how to improve the performance of .net using datareader.The actual thing is this.I have to connect to the database fetch the record process it and return back to it.Now am usin data reader but its taking some tme.Can any one pls say is ther any other method or logic tat can be implemented..

Hi there

The DataReader generally is one of the fastest ways to retrieve data from the database.

Maybe you're not using it right? Maybe you're reading in too many records at the same time?

Can you post some code and describe your data scenario in a bit more detail?
