Default Install question

I've just moved up to VB.net from VB6. I installed the Standard edition of VB.net and when I try to create an application, none of the application templates show up in the new application dialog box.:(

I'm now installing for the third time. It'll be awhile before I can see if it 'took' this time.

Any thoughts?

Install the latest framework first then vs.net?
