Aahhh...you are one of those people who learn everything from the Internet.

?You have never read the book VBScript Third Edition?

?THEN WHY THE HELL ARE YOU POSTING ON THE VBSCRIPT THIRD EDITION FORUM?

That explains the C++ looking Code in all of your responses that I have read.

I have absolutely zero idea of what Computer System you are using; or, which Windows Operating System you are using; or, which IDE you are using for VBScript Code writing.

Apparently, you are using some sort of IDE that supports VBScript and some other Programming Languages in the same Code.

Thus, you may be typing "Else If" in your Codes; and, either it is getting concastenated into "ElseIf"; or, your IDE interprets "Else If" as "ElseIf".

Ooo...You created BASIC Interpreters.
?Which BASIC did you interpret...GW; or, Liberty; or, Visual?

Well...I have used the TANDY 1000SL GW-BASIC Computer Programming Language on various non-TANDY Computer Systems that used DOS 5.0; or, Widows 3.1; or, Windows 95; or, Windows 98; and, had MHz from TANDY's 25MHz to CANON's INNOVABOOK 475CDS 300Mhz or 500MHz.

So...I am very familiar with how different Computer Systems handles a particular Programming Language.

Take a look at the title of this forum.

At the top of this page.

It says:
p2p.wrox.com Forums > Other Programming > VBScript

It says *NOTHING* about "VBSCRIPT THIRD EDITION"

I didn't "interpret" any BASIC. I wrote the interpreters. And none of the above. Many years before any of those. Cromemco BASIC, Atari BASIC, BASIC XL, BASIC XE, and a couple of others that are much more obscure.

Oh, who gives a flying frog.

On my Computer System, the last statement of the "If...The...Else" Loop needed to be "Else".

I had accidently mistyped "ElseIf" as the last Command Line in the "If...Then...Else" Loop and got an Error Message during Runtime.

That's my own personal Computer Programming Experience with VBScript.
