Now i am new to visual basic 2005
How can i access my sqldatabase through internet like ftp

what is the code using in the connection string

That’s a really helpful subject line; thanks.

Typically you would write a web site that has access to the database, and that provides pages for presenting the data and for receiving user input.

As far as direct contact, I presume that you can contact the database through its IP address (in exactly the same fashion as you would use to contact it on an intranet), if the DB is exposed to the internet. But that is a pretty bad idea, from a security standpoint.
