Default Finding Default Browser

Sorry for this duplicate post. I posted it in the wrong place previously.

I'm running some code called ProcessControlVB that I downloaded from ms-help://MS.VSExpressCC.v80/MS.NETFramework.v20.en/dv_vbcode/html/ab0ea779-d76d-40cc-a53e-659d11d70fe5.htm

It opens Notepad, Internet Explorer. I can change the code to open Firefox instead of Internet Explorer.

What I would like to do is be able to determine the default browser and open it (whatever browser it might be). Any help in determining what the default browser is would be greatly appreciated.
