Default security errors

Here at my firm they are still all Office. But I want to introduce VB here.
So I started building something very basic to try out my rusty skills but one problem: as long as I develop locally everything is OK. But the second I start programming on our server I get all kinds of security warnings (InnerExceptions).
Could anyone help me out as to how I can find out what goes wrong and especially where...?

This statement makes as much as "We all drive cars, but I'd like to introduce reading books."

What does VB have to do with Office? Are you saying that you want to write your own version of Office applications in VB?

And they are?

They want applications for lots of stuff here, and mostly they were written in VBA. It works OK, but I just wanted to introduce .NET here.

That's my question:

"Could anyone help me out as to how I can find out what goes wrong ans especially where"....

You said you "get all kinds of security warnings (InnerExceptions)". What are they? Can you post the actual error output?

Are you saying that you have lots of Office integrated processes that are done with VBA that you'd like to port to .NET? In that case, you'll want to look at Visual Studio Tools for Office (VSTO). I haven't worked with it but it seems to be a major step from VBA for integrated Office development.
