Default updating database after record deletion

i'm trying to build a simple database application using tool strip on visual express 2005; i have changed "copy to output" to "do not copy", so new records are updated ok; however, when i try to delete a record, the changes are not saved permanently

do anyone know any simple code to rectify this?
