Default VB 2008 Output

Hi all.
1st time on the site. I am slowly learning to program in VB. I created a GUI that I want to talk with a microproccesor. The microproccesor has a USB input. So I need some major help figuring out how to get my GUI buttons to output to a USB port. I've done lots of research on the web and find it hard to get the exact help I need. I just want my GUI to send simple binary outputs so that the microproccesor can recieve them and do its own thing with them. Thanks for any help you can give

Will M.
