hi everyone,

i am begginner in VB.Net programming and trying to perform database operations such as Reading, Inserting, updating etc..
can u please help me in learning the above...

i am using VB.Net 2008 as Front end and MS SQL SERVER(Express edition)2008 as back end...

Nw my question is how to connect to a database created in MS SQL SERVER(Express edition)2008 and read the values present in the table being created and use those values for comparison....

Please guide me with the basic explanation.....
