Cool More about Graphics Transformations

In Rod Stephen's book vb 2010 Programming ref he discusses scaling, translation and rotation mathematics with Matrixes just enough to whet my interests but I have a problem understanding the correlation between the point being transformed and the structure of the matrix used for the transformation.

Where can I find more info on these transformations and the math behind it. I am looking for an in-depth understaniding of this.

Thanks

Jerry

If you get the book Engineering Mathematics (Sixth Edition) by K.A.Stroud
ISBN 978-1-4039-4246-3

Best book ever for maths, im doing university BSc Computer Science course nd that helps so much!

Im rubbish at maths! It takes you from normal sub standard maths, right up to engineering

Smile Thanks so much

I was able to look through that book a bit on amazon and it really does look good. A little pricey but it is probably what I am looking for. Thanks for the suggestion.
