insufficient memory problem while using word thro

hi,
Iam trying to open the word document in .doc format and saving it as .rtf format using the Word.application thro vc++ project.

As processing processing few records (Actully getting the .doc leters from database) iam getting "insufficient memory .Save the document" and application is crashing. the system has lot if free space.

Please help in soving this problem.
