MAPI save a file

Hi all,
Iâm trying to save my email messages as a text (.txt) files. Iâm using MAPI with VC++ to get the messages but I have only found a way to save them as an .msg file. Iâm new to MAPI so please bear with me.

Any help would be appreciated.
