Default how to maintain the records for Reboot

Hi all

Can anyone suggest me how to maintain the records for Reboot of machine.
i.e. for a given time period how many time System is Restarted and at what time.

This is possible by Event Log

But is there any way other than Event Log????

Your fast reply in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Thanks and Regards
