Install problems - VS 6.0 on XP SCRRUN.DLL PDM.DLL

When I try to install Visual Studio 6.0 (enterprise) on my XP SP2 machine I get the following 2 errors, then the install fails:

SCRRUN.DLL was unable to register itself in the system registry
PDM.DLL was unable to register itself in the system registry

Any ideas? thanks
