How to read the metadata in wmv files

Using vc++ how to read metadata from the ASF files perticularly the wmv files.....
the samples with sdk gives how to do it in vc++.net 2005 but i have .net2003 and the samples is not getting compiled. i need the solution as soon as posible... well im also trying to fix the problems after convertion of the project from .net2005 to .net2003 and proceeding .... but if any one knows how to edit the metadata pls help me.....
