hi all

i am creating MS Paint like application in VB.NET 2005.

i am able to draw Lines on the Form using the Pen object,
but whenever i hide the Form and display it again, my drawing is GONE

how to retain tht drawing on the Form ?

I'm hardly an expert on this type of application but my first guess would be that when your form receives focus again, you should repaint the drawing canvas.

if i implement this thn i hv to SAVE "value for every pixel" of the Drawing Canvas :(
bcoz user can draw ANYTHING (literally)

if drawing is a shape (CIRCLE, RECTANGLE) thn i can store the Control Coordinates but in case of Random lines it can becum real slow to save all the Pixel values

thr must be some easy way...
