   i am facing problem fetching remote registry in vb.net. i want the details information about installed software name, version, installed path and licence key(if any).
i can fetch software name, version, installed path. but i am unable to fetch licence key(serial no.). i can fetch others information easily b'coz, they are stored in a same registry key, whoes sub keys can featch easily. the path is "SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstal l\" .but there is no defined path for serial number. serial numbers are stored in "SOFTWARE". but there is no defined hierarchy, we can get it may be level 2, may be level 3. it depends on different software
