Default vwd vs web matrix

I find VWD a bit harder to use and get use to then webmatrix. I wonder if I can use webmatrix with asp 2.0 and sqlserver express?

Not really. Both applications target their own version of the .NET Framework, resulting in code targeted at that platform.

Theoretically, you could write code in Web Matrix and use it against the .NET Framework, but that's about as good as using Notepad instead. You'll be missing most of the new features that VWD and the .NET Framework have to offer.

Many things are new in VWD and .NET 2, but you'll find that experimenting a bit, you'll find lots of familiar stuff as well.

Hope this helps a bit,

Imar
