Question Why ASP.NET with SQL Server, and why PHP with MySQL, what is strength and weakness

I'm using ASP.NET with MySQL to develop web, but i worried about why i never find that who use ASP.NET with MySQL, i always hear that they use PHP with MySQL.

So could someone please give me an answer.

1. Why someone would like to use asp.net to develop web, but someone use PHP what is strength and weakness of both.

2. Why when talk about PHP to develop web, usually use MySQL as database, why not use SQL Server instead. Is MySQL and PHP have some feature that support each other.

3. Why when talk about ASP.NET to develop web, usually use SQL Server as database. Why not use MySQL instead.

4. Have someone use ASP.NET with MySQL?. Is its have something to worried.

Thank you so much

I'd also love to hear the answers to those Why's. I'm beginning ASP.NET and would like to know it's advantages over PHP.
