Default Cannot add database connection in server explorer

Hey folks, nice to see this site back again!

Color me confused!

Whenever I open server explorer and attempt to add a database connection - nothing happens. It just clicks, my hd spins for a moment, and then .... nothing. Even when I attempt to add a connection through the Data Adapter wizard, nothing.

I have tried to reinstall VS.net (using the repair option), but again...nothing.

My next step is to reinstall SQL, but I doubt that will help.

Any collective wisdom for a hapless developer on a deadline?

Thanks!

Benny

Problem Solved!

SQL Server sp3 was not installed on my desktop. This fixed the problem.

Champagne may be sent to my ranch.
