I find using an email program, like outlook, works well.

Does that mean you integrate vb.net to current outlook program or using outlook manually?

I want to be able to read email folder using my vb.net just like using smtpmail namespace to send email. I have tried looking for how to access POP3 but couldn't find it.
Do you know how?

Oh, so this is a different question. You want to write a program that can pick up email. What is your email server? POP3? MAPI? Exchange?
