Default Viable alternative to VS.Net

Is there a decent IDE out there that's a viable alternative to VS.net? One that will allow me full code-behind coding?

I have never tried it, but PrimalCode is supposed to be a viable alternative. You can download a trial version from http://download.com.com/3000-2212-10196009.html

Hope this helps

If you are willing to leave the VB camp, look at Borland's JBuilder Enterprise (Java). I haven't used it, but they say that it will build code from UML diagrams and layouts.

C# Builder from Borland is almost ready to be released.
This is a full-featured IDE for C#. They will have
several different editions, including a low-cost
personal edition.
