Default Dataadapter with parameter

Hi all

I am trying to create application in vb.net 2002 windows form

i have created one dataadapter with parameter code is like

Select * from client where cdate>=? and cdate<=?

then i fill dataset

and write code for access it like

adapter.selectcommand.parameters("cdate").value=fr om.text
adapter.selectcommand.parameters("cdate").value=to o.text
adapter.fill(dataset11)

but i get error on this ...is i am doing right.

Please help me.....
