Default list view help

can any body help me for the following problem:
i am having one listview in that i will place some questions,so that any one can answer(questions brought from database),if it displays 3 questions, one may want to answer only 2 questions 1 and 3,after answering i want to save that question and answer, but i am unable because listview is not going to third row because 2nd row contains only one subitem and second subitem is blank.
same time for answering i am using inputbox to pate the answer on that listview and it will also taking input for only one time and i am unable to modify the answer again.
if anybody helps me i am very thankful to them.
