Default Help please

Can anyone tell me why IE 7 all of a sudden just totally shuts down when I try to close any page and gives me the message that Internet Explore has encountered an error please report then it checks off the 3 Item and says thank you. This is driving me a little crazy I cant even do a preview of this posting because it will open up in a new page and when I hit the upper right X to close it, it will close all and tell me to report the error again. Any Ideas how to stop this its like IE has changed to only show once and then close. Im on windows XP, SP3, I will wait for an answer cause if I try to go to another page I will have to come back and ask again.

You might try a forum dedicated to Windows/Internet Explorer issues. This one is for Windows Server.
