Default Run a macro when clicking a protected section

I have an interesting question regarding running a macro in a document:

I have 3 sections in the document. Sections 1 and 3 are clear but section 2 is protected from editing. This is done by protecting the document for forms and selecting to protect only section 2. Section has no form fields, just boilerplate text that users must not be able to modify.

My user wants a pop up warning message when a person tries to click in Section 2 (which is the protected section).

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
