Unfortunately, when Wiley purchased the books that we did from Wrox, the databases containing the answers to several of these books for the web site were unrecoverable. So, unless some other reader, or the authors, finds a copy (and we've been asking for people to look for them for about 9 months now so that seems unlikely), these answers to that edition are lost. You might want to read the FAQ at:

In my mind, the lack of answers certainly decreases the value of the book.

Any efforts being made to re-construct the answers? Or is it a case that if they can't be found, they are lost forever?

I am going to put the answers as I get to the question on my website. If everyone would be willing to look at my answers for correctness we can develop our own answers and submit them.

Wait a minute? Are you telling me that Wrox hasn't taken steps to recreate the database? Given the fact that they are still selling the book, wouldn't the onus be on Wrox to provide the data they are promising?

Obviously, Wrox is working extremely hard to find the answers. They said before that they'd appreciate any help they can get, though so it's good that all of us are trying to help
