Default Timer stops counting backwards at 00:01

I am working with the Trivia Quiz script in the Beginning JavaScrit book. The timer counts backwards but stops at 00:01 when the "Time's Up" alert box opens. I would like it to stop at 00:00 seconds and then the alert box should open.
Any help in doing this would be appreciated :)

Thanks,
Larry
