Default Localized versions of MSXML4 SP2

Hi,

1. What is the difference between the english version and the
localized version of the msxml 4.0 SP2 parser?

2. Can we install an English version of MSXML4 SP2 on a French/German
OS? (To be specific on a Non- English OS)

3. Are there any know issues related to point 2 ?

Thanks in Advance.

Default

I believe the only difference is the error messages, such as when you try to load a badly formed document or you try to validate a document against a schema and it fails.
These are held in the subsidiary dll. (msxml4r.dll from memory.)
