Greetings,

I have been assigned a project to write the service layer to read in an XML file and either query out data from Oracle 9 or possibly update Oracle (Effective Dated Record) and return another XML file for another developer to write the presentation layer.

I'd like to know which level of Wrox books would supply the information to accomplish this. Some example code would be helpful as well.

I have a limited background in XML but understand the basics...

I want to get started down the correct road. I have found Wrox books (ASP) very helpful in the past.

My background is more ASP then Java/JSP based.

Any insight would be great,
