Default Encoding problem.

Can anyone help with this Encoding problem?

I'm using XMLSpy and have found that although my settings are set to 'Unicode UTF-8', my XML Output files are being displayed as <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-16"?> instead of <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>.

Before I run the 'XSL Transformation' I check that the Menu Option 'File/Encoding AND the Tools/Options/Encoding Tab are set to dislay 'Unicode UTF-8'

Also, my Tools/Options/XSL Tab is set to Microsoft XML Parser(MSXML) and v4.0 .

After running a 'XSL Transformation', sometimes the encoding selection changes to 'Unicode UTF-16' ????

The XSL stylesheet begins....

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
<xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" version="1.0">

This is a recent problem. It had been working fine until the last 24 hours.

Thanks in advance,
